This weekend we went to Paris! Wow. What a whirlwind! I can't say that I liked Paris as much as I love London but se la vie! It was definitely a great experience and now I've been and I'm glad to be back in London.
The first night we got there we all went to the Eiffel Tower! It is HUGE!! In pictures and movies it really doesn't look as big as it is in real life. It was pretty neat though because it was only about a 10 minutes walk from our hotel! Then after that some of us went to dinner. It was a good, kind of chill, night.

Friday we went to the Louvre all morning, which was awesome! So many things to see...I loved seeing all the Egyptian artifacts they had, including a statue of Ramses II! Obviously we also saw Mona Lisa. Even though I've heard it a million times, it really is
much smaller than I realized it would be. We also saw Venus de Milo which was cool too.

Then my camera ran out of battery, but after that we went to see Notre Dame and we went to the Modern Art museum. It really was neat to see all these landmarks in real life! Then that night (haha after my camera had been charged) we went on a river cruise up the Seine. It was so fun! It was beautiful outside and the sun was setting so it really was beautiful.
The next day Jenn and I wanted to just take a shopping day so we went to Champs-Élysées! It was pretty touristy but we did find a really cool pastry shop! One street over though, was all the street with all of the super designer stores like Loui Vuitton, Dior, Dolce and Gabana, Chanel, etc etc. which was fun to go in those shops. Then we just walked around Paris!!

Paris adventure over! Back in London now for my last week with BGB...Hopefully I can get everything in!
Thanks for the great photos and commentaries! I could eat my way across all the cities and hamlets! Almost time to head back to school and to begin wedding plans. Exciting days ahead!
